Meet our PTA Members
The Jericho School District PTAs are part of a larger network under the New York State PTA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting every child’s potential through strong family-school partnerships. Locally, each Jericho PTA works closely with school administrators and staff to provide enrichment programs, cultural experiences, and community-building events that enhance student learning.
In addition to supporting individual schools, PTAs serve as a bridge between families and the education system—offering opportunities for advocacy, communication, and engagement at both the district and state levels. Through the National PTA and NYS PTA, families can access a wide range of resources on topics such as student wellness, educational policy, leadership development, and effective family involvement.
Jericho PTA units, attend meetings, and explore NYS PTA resources to better understand how PTAs function, how they support schools, and how to get involved. Together, these efforts help ensure that every child is supported both inside and outside the classroom.
