“Clubs play an important role in the Jericho School District by giving students opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with their peers outside of the classroom. Through clubs, students develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a stronger sense of belonging within their school community.”

Elementary Clubs

Beginning in the 2025–26 school year, each elementary school offers two additional clubs for students in grades 3 and 4, expanding opportunities beyond Peer Leaders and Safety Patrol for grade 5 students. Club offerings vary by school and are designed around student interests. Teachers submit club proposals that are reviewed by each school’s Shared Decision Making Team (SDMT), made up of teachers, staff, parents, and students and led by the principal. Clubs run for two years before being review

Middle School Clubs

Middle school clubs at Jericho span a wide range of disciplines and interests, including opportunities such as Newspaper Club, Anime Club, and many more. Through an ongoing evaluation of school priorities, available resources, and student interests, the Shared Decision Making Team works alongside middle school administration to develop and implement club offerings that enrich the student experience.

High School Clubs

Clubs at Jericho High School are student-centered, student-driven, and designed to foster creativity, leadership, and connection. They provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and create meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.
