K-12 Enrollment
Welcome to Student Registration for the Jericho School District.
Families can begin the enrollment process by confirming residency and completing registration through our online platform.As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements.

Parents or legal guardians are able to enroll students using the PowerSchool platform.

- Birth Certificate, Passport, or other proof of identity
- Proof of Residency (e.g., deed, lease, utility bills, affidavits)
- Previous School Records (if applicable)
- Custody Agreements or Guardianship Papers (if applicable)
- Current Health Examination Form (from a New York State doctor or licensed healthcare provider)
- Immunization Record (from a New York State doctor or licensed healthcare provider)

Step 1: Check Your Address
- Click “Register”
- Enter your information and home address
- The system will confirm whether your address is within the Jericho School District boundaries
Step 2: Look Out for Your Email
- If your address is eligible, you will receive an email within one school day
- This email will include instructions to:
- Create your PowerSchool account
- Continue the registration process
Step 3: Complete Online Registration
- Log into PowerSchool and complete all required fields
- The system will guide you step-by-step
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Please be prepared to upload the following:
- Proof of Age (e.g., birth certificate, passport)
- Proof of Residency (e.g., deed, lease, utility bills, affidavits)
- Previous School Records (if applicable)
- Custody or Guardianship Documents (if applicable)
- Health Examination Form (completed by a NYS doctor or licensed provider)
- Immunization Record
Need the health form? You can download it directly during the registration process.
Step 5: Submit & Track Your Application
- The system will prompt you for all required documents
- You’ll be able to upload forms and track your progress easily

Who is eligible to attend Jericho Schools?
Only students who reside full-time within the Jericho School District boundaries are eligible to attend Jericho Schools. The district does not accept tuition-based students or issue I-20 forms.
Can I request transportation to a private school?
Yes. Students who live within the district but attend a private school may request transportation to a school within 15 miles of the district.
Requests must be submitted by April 1 each year, or within 30 days of moving into the district.
How do I begin the registration process?
Start by clicking “Register My Student” and entering your address. If your address is within district boundaries, you will receive an email within one school day with instructions to create a PowerSchool account and complete the registration process.
When can I register my child?
- 2026–27 School Year: Registration is open now for all K–12 students
- 2026–27 School Year:
- Pre-K: Registration is by lottery only (January–early February for selected families)
- Kindergarten: Registration began in March

Universal Pre-K Registration Lottery TimeLine
The Universal Pre-K program (UPK) takes place at Jeffrey Ratner Robert Seaman Elementary School and will run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Please note that transportation is not provided; families must arrange their own transportation.

Our Pre-K program uses a lottery-based enrollment system designed to ensure a fair and transparent process for all families.

- Families submit the form to enter the lottery
- Each submission is assigned a number

- Numbers are selected to determine enrollment eligibility

- Remaining families are placed on a waitlist
